Rakesh "Rocky" Patel, M.D.

Rakesh Patel, M.D., is the owner and operator of Arizona Sun Family Medicine, P.C., and specializes in family medicine.

 

He received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology-zoology from the University of Michigan in 1991. He then received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1995. He completed his family practice residency program in 1998 where he served as the Chief Resident at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Mich.

 

Dr. Patel is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

 

Heidi Borowiecki, MS, FNP

Heidi Borowiecki has been a family nurse practitioner for 13 years.

 

She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Concordia College in Minnesota in 1991.  She then received her master’s degree in extended nursing practice from Arizona State University in 1997. 

 

Heidi is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has a passion for helping her patients understand and participate in their health care needs.
